We offer a generous paid leave package that includes two weeks of paid vacation in the first year (increasing over your tenure to more than five weeks per year), plus two weeks of paid sick time, two additional floating holidays, eleven paid holidays, and a paid winter break between Christmas and New Year's each year.The Dance & Movement Therapist provides therapeutic interventions focused on the use of movement to address and improve mental health, trauma integration, and overall well-being. In this role, you will be part of a holistic treatment team that includes the youth, family, caregivers, and other providers of case management and clinical services, all working together towards the goals of helping children heal from trauma and preserving and reunifying families, and you'll have a newly developed studio space in which to work with your clients. Candidate qualifications:

R-DMT certification required for all candidates.

One of the following is required the licensed Dance & Movement Therapist:

R-DMT certification plus current Illinois clinical licensure (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT), or

BC-DMT

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.

Job details:

Compensation: Range starts at $61,000. Offers are commensurate with experience and bilingual candidates may receive additional financial compensation.

Clinical licensure: Licensed clinicians receive reimbursement of licensure renewal fees and registered DMTs will receive reimbursement for one hour per month of DMT consultation towards board certification.

Location: Therapy provided primarily in-home or in agency studio space in the Metro Chicago area with occasional need for telehealth services. Therapists may work from home/preferred remote location between visits.

Schedule: Full-time, salaried; general business hours with some flexibility for evening appointments as needed to accommodate client schedules.
