Job Description As the Production Services Analyst I you will be responsible for new EDI vendor on boarding, perform basic troubleshooting and responding to EDI and Data Management Requests. The function is delivered by utilizing tools such as reports, policies and knowledge bases with the goal to provide high quality service and support. Responsibilities:
Electronic Data Interchange Help Desk: Provide support for our Trading partners on any EDI related issues. Work closely with the Finance and Merchandising departments on setting up new vendors.
Data Management Support: Run and analyze reports for the different stages of EDI processing. Responsible for resolving data failures on multiple platforms- IBM Sterling Integrator, SAP.
Product knowledge: Technology savvy. Possess a good overall knowledge of the programs, applications, systems and services supported.
Process/Program Documentation: May document processes and procedures as they are being developed.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, related field OR equivalent experience - preferably 1- 2 years in business support
Some familiarity with EDI
Strong trouble shooting and analytical skills
Ability to understand business processes, procedures, and policies
Strong communication skills; problem solving skills
Skilled in Microsoft tools like Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
