ERP Functional Supply Chain Consultant Location: Chicago NW Suburbs (remote start pending Covid, transitioning to onsite) Duration: 12+ months ERP Functional Consultant - Supply Chain / Procure to Pay
Must have demonstrated experience on ERP (Oracle / SAP / D365) Supply Chain / Procure to Pay process. Functional ERP Supply Chain Consultant will be responsible for participating in all phases of the project life cycle including - analyzing, designing, modeling, testing, training, pre- and post-Go live support and deploying suitable and appropriate solutions. The consultant will be a self-motivated individual, who can work in dynamic conditions and within deadlines. Responsibilities
Work with clients to define the business requirements required for them to successfully implement the ERP solution.
Work with clients to configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 in detail to meet the defined business requirements.
Assist with business process redesign activities.
Work with the technical team to define and test any potential customizations to the solution, including data conversions, interfaces, and functional enhancements.
Work with clients to test and validate the final configured solution meets the requirements.
Determine and manage the detailed cutover activities to migrate to the new system.
Assist clients with questions and issues after cutover.
Work with Microsoft support if issues arise with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution.
Required Qualifications
5+ years relevant work experience with Supply Chain ERP large scale enterprise implementations
Experience working on multi-phase global implementations is preferred
Proven experience leading requirement gathering and discovery with users and stakeholders
Participation in FIT/GAP process and ability to write complete functional design specifications
Solid experience in designing and writing technical specification documents
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ERP implementation principles, practices, and methodologies
Understand the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solution in detail, and lead the configuration of key financial business areas and or trade and logistic business areas:
Finance
General Ledger/Financial Reporting
Budgeting
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Fixed Assets
Cash and Bank Management
Trade & Logistics
Procurement & Sourcing
Inventory Management / Warehouse Management
Product Information Management
Project Management and Accounting
Human Resources implementation experience is a plus (specifically with Dynamics is not required).
Data migration, data management and FastTrack go-live assessment
Security framework. roles and best practices
Understanding the integration options and underlying technologies available
Power Platform, Logic Apps, Power Automate
Azure Data Lake, CDS, Dual Write
Using Lifecycle Services to design and plan a project
Using Azure DevOps, test case planning and acceptance testing framework

Comfortable in settings from smaller Discovery/Workshop environments all the way to the Board Room.
Prepared for some domestic and international travel as required
