Description We are seeking an experienced Help Desk Support Specialist to join our clients team in Downton Chicago, IL. This is an onsite position. The Help Desk Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our client's end users. This role includes handling level 1 support tickets, dealing with operating system issues, management of active directory profiles, and hands-on support with Microsoft Office 365.Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to level 1 support tickets submitted via phone, email, and help desk service software.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and software issues, in particular those related to Windows 10 and Office 365.

Guide users through step-by-step solutions in a clear and effective manner.

Assist in the management of active directory profiles.

Document actions taken to resolve issues within our helpdesk ticketing system.

Follow up with customers/clients to ensure their systems are functional.

Escalate more complex IT issues to the appropriate team members.

Assist in maintaining a knowledge base of common IT issues and their solutions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a help desk support role.

Proven experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365.

Working knowledge of Active Directory.

Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks based on urgency.

Strong attention to details and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Preferred Skills:

CompTIA A+ certification is a strong plus.

Relevant experience in an IT firm is desirable.
