Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a senior-level HR Coordinator in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with a diverse range of responsibilities including communication, compliance, and documentation tasks within the human resources industry. This role is Part time to Full time, requirement travel to 3 different campuses in Chicago. Responsibilities: Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. Utilize HRIS systems for managing and updating employee records. Coordination and support for DEI initiatives and developments. Management of HR investigations and resolution of employee relation issues. Maintenance and enhancement of employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health initiatives. Maintain compliance with FMLA and other relevant regulations. Manage documentation related to HR administration efficiently. Leverage your communication skills to address and resolve employee inquiries. Utilize Microsoft Office Suites for various administrative tasks. Play a key role in human resources administration to support the HR department. Ensure all employee records are accurate and up to date. Collaborate with the HR team to implement HR policies and procedures. Be proactive in identifying and addressing potential HR-related issues.Requirements Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position Strong ability in using Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) In-depth understanding of sourcing and recruitment processes Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices Experience with onboarding, benefits administration, and payroll processes Proficient understanding of compliance with labor laws Familiarity with FMLA and workers' compensation processes Experience with HR administration, including record-keeping and employee documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
