RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is looking for a Lead .NET Developer to join their team in Chicago, IL. This role will work on the modernization of an application.
Responsibilities:
The Lead .Net Developer will be developing and maintaining the back-end and front-end components of the application using .NET Core, C#, Web API and SQL/PostgreSQL technologies
Writing and testing code using programming languages such as C# or Visual Basic
Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems
Providing technical support for web, desktop or mobile applications
Collaborating with coworkers to facilitate the creation of large, complex developments, as required
As a Lead .Net Developer, you will be deformulating existing code to ensure adherence to stipulated guidelines
REQUIREMENTS:
Microsoft/AWS certifications are nice to have
Good understanding of .NET/Net Core Framework (v3.1+, v6.x preferred), C#, Web API and SQL/PostgreSQL development
Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) following Agile and SCRUM methodologies
Experience with front-end development with back-end system integration
Experience in writing unit tests using xUnit framework and using version control tools such as GitHub or TFS
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being well organized and goal oriented
PostgreSQL experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
