The Manager, Digital Asset Management will work cross-functionally with creatives, account managers, global legal counsel, and vendors to drive digital asset management, content standards, art purchasing, and rights management. They will drive strategic asset management projects and initiatives to support Epsilon business goals and expansion. This role is responsible for all content and asset-management and ensuring legal compliance for the Epsilon Creative department — from acquisition to archiving — by purchasing, gathering, organizing, managing, auditing, reporting on, and maintaining all digital assets. The Manager, Digital Asset Management is a leader on the Creative Operations team and will be integral in establishing best practices and procedures for leveraging our Digital Asset Management system (Adobe Experience Manager or AEM), ensuring global legal compliance.Core Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Manage and oversee the Digital Asset Management function across our global Epsilon Creative department, including purchasing, billing, rights management, font optimization, content standardization and asset compliance initiatives

Develop and implement Digital Asset Management strategies - establishing procedures and guidelines for asset creation, storage, retrieval, and archiving to optimize the digital asset lifecycle and maintain compliance across our global Epsilon Creative department

Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to deliver enhanced processes, system functionality, and training related to digital asset management, content management, rights management and compliance management

Act as administrator of the digital asset management tool (AEM) for the global Creative organization; collaborate with other Digital Asset Management leaders to set standards across the global organization for scale; adapt metadata fields, manage users, and update system configurations to support ongoing global expansion

Manage financial setup and accounts to ensure proper payment and financial reconciliation with an eye on cutting costs for the organization

Bring a deep understanding of procurement and legal matters pertaining to asset purchasing and rights management, leveraging our legal team for complex questions when needed

Guide the Digital Asset Management function in the navigation of new technologies such as AI, establishing compliance standards and identifying opportunities to continually improve

Ensure compliance with tools, vendors, client contracts and agreements

Work with the organization’s various departments to optimize asset management within the company to achieve global business objectives and maintain creative compliance

Monitor and manage the rights and permissions associated with digital assets to ensure compliance standards are met

Establish and report on Digital Asset Management KPIs to monitor usage, compliance, ensure adoption of our standards and limit Epsilon’s legal exposure

Transform the ways of working within AEM and other asset management systems using innovative automation solutions and process optimizations; identify optimization opportunities and drive them to successful completion in the form of key initiatives

Manage Digital Asset Management and creative operations teams and processes to ensure there is not a lag in client service or support

Bring a future-forward approach to Digital Asset Management and keep educated on industry trends and standards

Background:

Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications or related field

8-10 years of Digital Asset Management experience with design studio, creative department or agency environment

Expert understanding of Digital Asset Management and rights management

Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and UTC, and the content lifecycle, including planning, creation, and delivery

Ability to think strategically and partner with stakeholders to achieve strategic goals

Expert in creative asset metadata and cataloging taxonomy

Experience and success in cross-functional leadership and teamwork in a global environment

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign)

Experience with JIRA and Confluence a plus

Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Power Point, Excel; Experience with both Mac and PC platforms

Excellent project and people management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude

Proven ability to multi-task, set priorities, and be resourceful in a fast-paced environment

Proven ability to lead, develop processes, optimize workflows, and navigate ambiguity
