Job Title: Microsoft Teams Administrator
Location of role: Chicago, IL 60606 Downtown Chicago - Hybrid role 2 to 3 days a week onsite - Must be vaccinated
Salary or Hourly range: 90K to 110K Depending on experience DOE
Duration of role: Direct hire Role - Fulltime
Key Points of the role:
The core responsibilities of the Microsoft Teams Administrator are providing support to, and administration of, the firm's collaboration platforms, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Teams. Other collaboration platforms include various extranets and file sharing services, such as Box.com, and e-signature platforms, such as DocuSign. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and dashboard development will be beneficial.
Experience using and / or managing Microsoft Teams collaboration spaces
Experience in supporting IT systems
Experience in managing vendor relationships.
Training in business analysis, consulting and/or client-facing roles
Experience with project management, preferably using Agile methods, specifically Kanban
Exposure to data visualization applications and languages (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, R etc.) is a plus
Able to interact easily with a broad spectrum of people
Responsibilities:
Providing subject matter expertise and assistance to those using the Firm's collaboration services and extranets (which currently include Microsoft Teams AMS, Box, HighQ, DocuSign)
Administration of those extranet and collaboration systems:
o ensuring sufficient capacity (accounts, storage)
o managing communication around system updates
reporting on, and monitoring use of, the systems (to aid service delivery and adoption)
o identifying gaps in best use and suggesting appropriate actions to address those gaps, including awareness campaigns, targeted training, and procuring additional features
Ensuring all documentation surrounding the collaboration platforms is complete, clear and up to date
Developing and cultivate trusting, collaborative relationships with clients, key business partners, stakeholders, vendors, and other members of the team
Providing support for projects, which may include requirements gathering, software / platform selection, development, implementation, documentation, adoption and support
Providing input and assistance on the team's development of Microsoft Power Apps as a platform for addressing business problems.
