Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Growth marketing, you will play a critical role in the planning, development, and execution of our paid media initiatives across a variety of mediums and platforms including search, display, marketplaces, trade publications, association, events and more! As part of the Growth Marketing team within the larger Marketing department, this role will support the growth of our eCommerce and related revenue streams through day-to-day management and optimization of our paid media initiatives within our websites, mobile applications, trade publications, associations, events and more. This role will be laser focused on increasing revenue by improving our paid media KPIs (bot engagement and revenue related) within these platforms through planning, analysis, and a high level of collaboration with other marketing team members and other cross-functional teams at large.Our corporate headquarters is in Chicago, IL. This role operates on a hybrid work model; employees spend two days working in the office and three days working remotely. Drive traffic, generate leads and increase eCommerce conversions through strategic and well-executed paid media initiatives.

Day-to-day management and growth planning for paid media initiatives in collaboration with outside partners/agencies and hands-on, direct execution.

Analysis of key metrics that turn into actionable insights to improve those metrics

Manage and optimize paid media campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads and Amazon Ads. Also analyze, plan, and support other forms of paid media within mediums such as trade publications, events, associations and more.

Conduct keyword research and selection for pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns as necessary.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize for ROI and KPIs.

Maintain and monitor keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics with outside agency.

Perform A/B testing of ads to improve click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates.

Manage the creation and validation of large keyword lists and search terms.

Work with SEO specialist to harmonize and optimize SEO/SEM efforts.

Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad design ideas for net-new ads or to optimize current ads.

Manage Display network placement lists on Google Ads and through other contextual advertising platforms.

Provide oversight and manage new paid media campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of paid media marketing initiatives across multiple brands.

Provide oversight, manage, and be able to generate reporting for all major paid media metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid media initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Manage budget allocations and bid strategies to maximize the efficiency of ad spend.

Ongoing understanding of search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.

Collaborate with the marketing team to align paid media efforts with overall marketing strategies and objectives.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to paid media campaigns.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, with at least 3 years and a proven track record of planning and optimizing paid initiatives within websites, mobile applications and marketplaces, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Google Ads certified

Experience with Google, Bing and Amazon paid media

Understanding of and experience with paid media best practices, ensuring accuracy, engagement, and competitiveness

Experience with paid initiatives relating to e-commerce websites

Experience with paid initiatives relating to traditional (digital) lead generation

General understanding of other marketing channels, campaigns, website, brand and other general areas of marketing as to influence and expand upon your own day to day work and deliverables

Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and other analytics tools

Experience with Shopify Enterprise/Shopify Payments is a plus

Experience with traditional (digital) lead generation is a plus
