PC Technician

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a skilled PC Technician in Chicago, Illinois. The primary function of this role revolves around the IT industry, with a focus on assisting clients during their transition to new locations. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring an efficient and secure relocation of clients' PC equipment, along with troubleshooting technical issues and setting up equipment at the new location.Responsibilities: Organize and manage the secure transportation of clients' PC equipment during relocation. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise before and after the move. Ensure all PC equipment is correctly set up at the new location. Utilize computer hardware and Linux technologies to maintain and update client systems. Manage client databases and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date. Utilize Dell Technologies and EO/IR systems to ensure optimal performance of client systems. Conduct AB Testing to ensure the smooth operation of client systems. Maintain the Active Directory and ensure all user information is correct and up-to-date. Operate and manage Apple devices and backup technologies for client systems. Install and manage cable installation for client systems. Requirements Proficiency in Computer Hardware Knowledge of Database management and operations Familiarity with Dell Technologies Experience with EO/IR systems Proficiency in Linux Technologies Knowledge of AB Testing methodologies Understanding of Active Directory Experience with Apple Devices and related technologies Expertise in Backup Technologies Ability to perform Cable Installation tasks Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, higher education or certifications in relevant field preferred Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Willingness to keep up with advancements in the field of PC technology Must be authorized to work in the specified country.
