Job DescriptionLocation: Chicago, ILHospital: Rush University Medical CenterDepartment: Diagnostic Radiology & Nuclear MedicineWork Type: Full TimeRush offers exceptional rewards and benefits learn more at our Rush benefits page .Musculoskletal Radiology - Clinical FacultyRush University Medical CenterChicago, ILThe Department of Diagnostic Radiology& Nuclear Medicine at Rush University Medical Center is seeking to hire a fellowship trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join our well-established department in Chicago.Join a collegial group of 36 sub-specialized radiologists serving Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Rush Oak Park Hospital in Oak Park, and numerous outpatient facilities in the Chicagoland area.Primary responsibilities include interpretation of adult musculoskeletal radiographs, CT, and MRI. Candidates should be proficient in performing arthrograms. The section actively participates in bone and soft tissue tumor board, as well as rheumatology and multiple myeloma conferences. We are also active in orthopedic grand rounds and specialty sports medicine conferences. The selected candidate will work closely with radiology residents, fellows, and medical students from Rush Medical College and collaborate professionally and academically with professionals from orthopedic surgery, oncology, rheumatology, emergency medicine, radiation oncology, and pathology services. Our section works intimately with the leading orthopedic practice in the region, and we perform imaging services for multiple professional and college athletic programs including the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox. Research experience or interest is encouraged, but not required. We have excellent support from a dedicated physicist section and have strong long-term relationships with referring clinicians and hospital administration.Rush offers a competitive compensation package and benefits. Weekend calls are equally divided among the group. Rush uses fully digital EMR/RIS-PACS/voice recognition dictation systems and provides a fully functional home PACS.
