Description Robert Half is looking for a talented Senior Accountant for a long-term contract / temporary opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following: Finance Transformation Project: Participate in the implementation of finance transformation project by bridging the gaps between different functional groups (i.e., IT, Finance, Procurement etc.) and ensure that all accounting/financial implications are accurately captured and addressed. Process Improvements: Identifying areas of inefficiency in the current AP process, suggesting improvements and overseeing the implementation of these improvements to optimize processes. Internal Controls: Monitor adherence to internal controls, rules and regulations. Assist in the development of new policies and procedures to enhance workflow and internal control. Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, company policies, and accounting standards. Other duties as assigned: Occasional support on other finance-related tasks as and when needed, covering for team members when necessary. Collaboration: Work closely with various functions like Treasury, Internal Audit, Tax, etc. to ensure smooth operations and successful results in key business metrics. Requirements Key skills required: Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially advanced Excel) and SAP. Detail-oriented with ability to organize and prioritize tasks. Strong understanding of the accounts payable process. Knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvements. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
