Senior Episerver Developer
Our Chicago client seeks to contract a highly experienced Episerver developer to work with in-house
developers to program custom templates and themeable blocks, analyze and troubleshoot
existing code, and provide guidance on best practices.
The project goal is the migration of intranet content from a Google site to the Episerver Digital
Experience Platform that is currently also hosting the client's website. A precursor to
the intranet migration is the improvement and stabilization of the current website codebase
since the intranet website will mostly use the same templates and blocks as the site
(with slight design changes). Current website templates and blocks will be optimized and new
custom templates and blocks will be programmed based on client requirements.
Candidate Experience
Episerver Digital Experience Cloud Platform, C#, ASP.NET MVC (Razor Engine), SQL Server,
JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, HTML 5, SASS, Webkit, Webpack, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps,
Bitbucket, Continuous Integrations, Automated Testing.
Candidate Qualifications
Strong consulting and communication skills
Team player with the ability to adapt to changing situations
Work independently and manage technical requirements
Excellent at both front and back end development
Write clean, optimized, well-commented and easily digestible code
Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills
Write technical documentation, if needed
Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
