As a member of the Commercial Banking team, you’ll work with our clients to create end-to-end financial solutions to help build a comprehensive approach to finance growth, manage cash flow, increase efficiency and mitigate risk

Responsible for meeting the needs of clients and driving business growth in the commercial segments, leveraging partnerships with the broader market team to deliver a broad range of Commercial Banking solutions

Manage and grow a portfolio of Commercial Banking clients by proactively developing new business opportunities in the community and ensuring clients’ day-to-day banking needs are being met at the highest level. As a strategic partner to leading companies you’ll be delivering flexible business solutions, dedicated business expertise and timely business advice to help clients realize their goals.

Speaking up if witnessing behaviors that drive poor or unfair outcomes for clients, team members or other stakeholders

Escalating matters that can result in adverse market practices and outcomes, thereby negatively impacting CIBC’s reputation as a leading financial institution

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Preferred Formal Education: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum 5-10 years of experience

Demonstrated experience in Commercial Banking with at least 5 – 8 years of ABL relationship management

Experience managing an ABL portfolio and have a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles

Teamwork, relationship building and customer focused

Client experience - industry/company knowledge to the development of client/prospect proposals for financial and strategic solutions to meet client needs

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
