About the RoleThe Senior Sales Manager (Sr Manager, Sales) will be responsible for managing all imaging product within the Sales Group and is expected to provide clear direction, support, and daily management of Account Executives to ensure that all goals are achieved. The successful individual will collaborate with Senior Management to develop channel strategies and processes to expand Canon’s business within both established and new partners. There must be clear focus on both short- and long-term business initiatives to increase revenue within the sales channel. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, growth of Canon’s market share within our dealer partners, effective marketing with our partners to amplify company initiatives, command of market dynamics and competitors and strong leadership of the Sales Team.This position is full time and is considered virtual. The office will be open 5 days a week; however you will not be required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need.  Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.Your ImpactIf you are a strategic sales leader we want to talk to you!

Attain monthly sales revenue and quota

Work across teams/departments to maximize synergies within the organization, manage group deadlines, goals and budgets

Lead, manage, motivate, and support each team member in an effort to help them achieve their respective monthly quotas

Develop and implement programs to drive sales and increase Canon market share

Develop strategies to increase sales with key decision makers in assigned accounts

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 9 years of related experience and management of 2 or more regular full-time employees

Experience to include Sales Management is required

Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with external business partners and internal executive management

Candidate must be self-motivated, capable of prioritizing and performing multiple tasks, and possess strong leadership skills to motivate and lead a sales team

Leads others through change and has the ability to manage through resistance

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment

Self-motivated, results oriented, creative thinker

Strong communication, presentation skills and organizational skills

Analytical approach in identifying opportunities

Strong negotiation skills

Proven experience in managing, motivating and training a national sales team

Proficient computer skills necessary (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)

This position works remotely from a home office located near a major metropolitan city/airport and requires overnight travel to support our partners

Ability to travel up to 75% nationwide

Individual must possess a clean valid state driver's license in order to obtain the position

This position requires driving, therefore a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary. Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies

The company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship for this position.In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $117,790 - $176,390.
