We are a small development team within DRW supporting multiple web-based GUIs used by traders and IT. Our code is all written in TypeScript, utilizing Node and Docker for back-end microservices, and React powering the front-end. We're seeking a Senior JavaScript/TypeScript engineer to join our team as we scale to more users within the company. The position offers opportunity to work on both front-end and back-end code, tight feedback with users, and opportunity to influence the design and architecture of a growing system.

Job Details

Requirements:
  • 5+ YOE in software engineering at a production level
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Familiarity with object-oriented design
  • Strong experience or interest in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience or interest in performance tuning data-intensive systems
  • Experience or interest in finance

Desirable skills:
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with writing integration tests
  • Experience optimizing distributed systems
  • Open-source contributions or side projects
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Experience or interest with WebAssembly
