The Sr. Manager Advertising Operations role helps support all tagging, trafficking and campaign management and execution across both paid and owned media at TIAA and Nuveen. This role reports directly to the Director Paid Media Operations and works closely with other members of the paid and social media team as well as the agency, client marketing, key sales stakeholders, technical/development resources and the analytics team in order to create, manage and execute on paid and social media campaign priorities, key KPIs and timing. This role will bridge the gap between the advertising side of the execution with the technology and tracking teams. The role requires an understanding of the digital omni-channel landscape, ability to understand and execute advanced paid media plans and the capacity to guide more complex and sophisticated integrated strategy to exceed goals.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Support all paid and social media campaign activation, supporting agency and inhouse media and creative teams to activate digital campaigns (display, video, social, mobile, and programmatic)

Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams and agencies for campaign trafficking, ad specs, QA and troubleshooting, providing detailed insights and recommendations for improving processes

Test, troubleshoot, launch and optimize advertising campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring timely asset delivery and proper implementations by aligning on all timelines. Effectively communicate the status of campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders.

Stay up to date on new technologies, market trends and industry best practices and privacy changes as they impact the ad ecosystem

Become a subject matter expert on ad and supporting digital technologies; understanding the ever-evolving media landscape

Support marketing analytics teams with daily, weekly, and monthly campaign results.

Deep understanding of advertising operations landscape

Difference between third-party served and site served; difference between advertiser and publisher; difference between site direct and programmatic

Knowledge of creative types (HTML5, static, rich media, video, audio)

Experience trafficking campaigns for 3-5 years

Understanding of CM360 hierarchy (Advertisers, Campaigns, Packages, Placements, etc.)

Knowledge of event tagging, creative weights and rotations, and URL string development

Experience with floodlight tagging and QA

Capable of creating and pushing floodlight tags to GTM

Capable of QA-ing floodlight tags and troubleshooting tagging issues

Experience with the implementation and adherence of naming conventions

Capable of QA-ing and ensuring flawless naming convention implementation

Experience with troubleshooting ad tag problems, creative asset issues, impression discrepancies, and other ad ops issues

Experience with managing multiple projects with moving pieces and working in collaboration with other stakeholders to find streamlined ways to improve process gaps

Experience explaining technical issues and proposed solutions clearly (written and verbal)
