Five (5) years' work experience in systems administration/engineering is required
Patch management is critical
A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology is required
Must be capable of working with IT and InfoSec teams. Good oral and written communication skills are a must.
Previous overall systems management experience is highly desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
Systems administration certification (e.g., MCSE, Fortinet NSE, CCNA) is desirable.
FortiGate firewall, Cisco ASA, Azure, MS Intune, AD Audit Plus, PRTG, and Zabbix experience are also desirable.
Day-to-Day:
Configure and maintain Windows servers and virtual appliances. This includes patch management and reporting.
Oversee installation, maintenance, repairs, and upgrading of LAN hardware and software.
Develop and maintain LAN and WAN maps, maintain network, systems inventory.
Help Information Security ensure network and systems security by designing and building security systems and building infrastructure with secure configurations
Ensure that WAN/LAN systems are in continuous operation.
Collect and analyze data to evaluate LAN/WAN performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Help tech support resolve LAN/WAN-related problems.
Solve LAN/WAN problems quickly and effectively when a user or an automated monitoring system lets them know about a problem.
Perform ongoing hardware Configuration management
Maintain Active Directory
O365 configurations
Create and use of PowerShell scripts
