Description We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for problem-solving. This role involves a combination of system administration, network engineering, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and availability.Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain server hardware and software systems.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Configure and manage system security measures to protect against threats.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
Automate system administration tasks to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in systems engineering.
Strong understanding of server hardware and software (Windows, Linux).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills:
Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
