TITLE: Project Manager/ Business Analyst

Location: Remote

. This role will liaise with the reporting team and the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team for proper data sourcing and transformation for data models. The individual in this role will be expected to develop a solid understanding of data sources and their ultimate use and application within client reporting.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct analyses of functional business processes and requirements and participate in the development of business cases in support of process changes and/or IT projects
• Define and document business requirements and scope functionality for delivery based on business needs
• Work cross functionally on business solutions as directed, to develop and deliver sophisticated analytic solutions that support strategic business initiatives
• Develop a deep understanding of the business to effectively identify and address critical issues
• Follow best practices in data querying and manipulation to ensure data integrity
• Develop database models and support documentation to meet business requirements for reporting and analytics databases
• Perform logical and physical data modeling and manage dictionaries and other documentation across multiple data marts
• Support preparation for the data mart deployment by documenting the list of changes and coordinating required steps with Data Engineers and Test Engineers within Information Management
• Triage incidents and perform data profiling to identify root cause for data issues/discrepancies
• Work closely with Product Owners and other Technical Program Managers to prepare for planning and estimation of effort for each quarter
• Prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks
• Prepare release notes and communicate release status to stakeholders and project teams

Skills / Experience You Will Need:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a technical project management, business analysis, data analysis role
• Knowledge of data warehouse and ETL (Data Movement) concepts and processes
• Must have a passion for data
• Must be proficient in T-SQL
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Capable of prioritizing and tracking multiple projects while still achieving deadlines
• Superior attention to detail and follow up activities
• Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Experience with scrum or scaled agile framework (SAFe) events/ceremonies and practices such as managing and facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, mid-sprint reviews, sprint demos, and retros
• Familiarity with agile software development planning tools such as Rally or Jira
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability

• Project Management - Proficient in agile software development methodologies (like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and tools (like Jira)
• Communication - Effective in communicating/collaborating with key stakeholders in both Engineering and Product Management
• Domain Expertise - familiarity with data warehousing strategies and data movement technologies

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Technical Aptitude - proficient with SQL and data modeling tools (like Erwin or ER/Studio)
• Leadership & Influence - ability to lead and influence cross-functional delivery teams without direct authority

• Scrum Master experience is a plus

• Technical Project Management experience is a plus
• Advanced technical or business degree
• Experience working within healthcare marketing industry is a plus
