Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and personable Banquet Bartender to join our events team. The ideal candidate will have experience serving at high-volume functions such as weddings, corporate events, funeral luncheons, and private parties. You will be responsible for setting up the bar, mixing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and break down bar stations for events.
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per event specifications.
Verify legal drinking age and practice responsible alcohol service.
Keep bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout events.
Collaborate with banquet and service staff to ensure seamless guest experience.
Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, wine, and beer selections.
Handle cash and credit transactions when applicable.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in banquet or catering settings.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service.
Basset or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.
Schedule:
Flexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
