Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and passionate Barista & Deli Worker to join our café team. In this role, you’ll craft exceptional coffee and espresso beverages, prepare fresh deli items, and help create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and enthusiasm for great food and coffee will make you an essential part of our growing brand.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and deli menu items following established recipes and presentation standards.
Operate the Toast POS system accurately for order processing and cash/card transactions.
Assemble sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go meals with consistency and care.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including espresso stations, prep counters, and customer areas.
Provide excellent customer service—welcome guests, take orders accurately, and ensure satisfaction with every visit.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper food handling, storage, and labeling.
Assist with inventory and restocking, ensuring all ingredients and supplies are available for service.
Collaborate with team members to create a supportive, positive environment and smooth daily operations.
Manage time effectively, especially during rush hours, while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Requirements
Prior barista or deli experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
Familiarity with Toast POS or other café/restaurant systems preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
Basic math and cash-handling proficiency.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Flexible availability—including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
A passion for coffee, food, and community service is a must!
