We need help running our drink booth at farmers markets/festivals!
Who are YOU?
- fast-learning creatives/students/gig workers/etc, looking to make some extra cash on the weekends.
- a go-getter/self-starter/hustler looking to be part of a team (we’re a very small business trying to make it happen!)
With service experience
- baristas, bartenders, servers, etc
(Must have experience- you will be very busy and not look up for several hours)
- available weekend mornings (primarily Sundays for now)
- generally 7:30am- 3:30pm
- through October
We think it’s a fun, community-based, social environment- it’s also hard work and will definitely suck sometimes.
Must be able to:
Greet and serve customers.
- Make unique, delicious, high-quality drinks with attention to detail
- Scoop ice, pour drinks, add flavor, smile, accept transactions (square reader provided).
- Do basic math in your head.
- Lift 50+lb drink dispensers from ground to table.
- Stand for 4-8 hours outside rain/shine, 45-95 degree weather. (Have you been outside lately? It’s very hot. The sun hits inside the booth. While you’re working non-stop. With no breeze.)
- Help setup/teardown booth.
- Adapt (things go wrong often, we roll with it).
- Move effectively.
