Position Overview
The Busser is responsible for assisting servers and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area. This role involves clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, refilling water, and supporting the front-of-house team to provide a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
Clear tables of dirty dishes, utensils, and trash promptly and efficiently.
Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware for new guests.
Assist servers by refilling water glasses and responding to guest requests as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including floors and service stations.
Remove trash and debris from the dining area and transport it to the designated disposal area.
Support servers by delivering dishes and beverages to tables as needed.
Ensure that tables and dining areas are prepared for guests throughout the shift.
Assist in maintaining stock levels of service items, such as napkins, silverware, and glassware.
Help with additional tasks during busy periods to support smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant setting is a plus but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods (4-8 hours).
Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds safely.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements
The Busser role requires long periods of standing, walking, and moving in a fast-paced dining environment. The position involves handling cleaning tasks, carrying dishes, and resetting tables throughout the shift. Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
