FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER

We are an established, high-volume restaurant & bar in the South Loop seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to help elevate our guest experience and support continued growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can run a strong floor, communicate clearly with the kitchen, and manage operations with accountability — especially during busy nights and high-volume service.
REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):
3–4+ years of restaurant management experience
Valid Illinois BASSET certification (required)
City of Chicago Food / Manager Certification
Strong leadership and floor presence
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the kitchen
Experience managing labor, scheduling, and staffing levels
Experience with inventory control and ordering
Comfortable leading mandatory monthly management meetings
Ability to analyze problems and correct them quickly
Professional, dependable, and calm under pressure
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Managing daily Front of House operations
Leading servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff
Acting as the bridge between FOH and BOH
Monitoring labor costs and adjusting staffing as needed
Maintaining inventory levels and assisting with ordering
Running pre-shifts and participating in monthly management meetings
Upholding service standards and guest experience
Training staff and enforcing accountability
Supporting ownership with execution and growth initiatives
