Yellowtail Sushi is hiring Sushi Chef / Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher / Busser / Carryout Expeditor

We’re a growing sushi bar. In anticipation of summer, we’re looking to expand our team! We’re ISO people who love the fast pace of a restaurant, social settings, and want to join a close-knit team. We believe that if we take care of our coworkers, our coworkers will take care of our guests.

Carry Out Order Expeditor / Host Position: ($18 an hour and up)

You can multitask well and keep your cool under pressure. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and work well with others. We prefer expediting experience as our carry-out is so busy. But don’t worry, we’ll train as needed!

Your responsibility is (depending on position) to input orders, pack precisely, and expedite carry-out food as needed.

Kitchen Helper ($17 and up)

Assisting kitchen chef prepare ingredients before dinner service, making appetizer, and clean up at the end of the shift.

Dishwasher / Busser ($17 and up)

Mainly responsible cleaning dishes with the dishwashing machines and maintain the kitchen and storage area clean.

Maki Sushi Chefs: ($20 an hour and up)

You have 3+ years of experience as a sushi chef making maki. You should have experience working in a fast-paced environment. You can stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours. You’re a team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include sushi preparation according to recipes and efficiently executing intricate, aesthetically-pleasing sushi plates and rolls. You’ll be working with other staff to ensure the safety and sanitation of the restaurant.
