Juno, an acclaimed sushi restaurant in Lincoln Park, is seeking a full-time sushi chef to join our team.
The ideal candidate requirements:
Qualifications and requirements:
Good knowledge of various sushi and preparation according to recipes and efficiently executing intricate, aesthetically pleasing sushi plates
Achieve and maintain proficiency in job functions of employees on the team, including but not limited to, follow the instructions on prepare food items and ingredients needed for menu items (including but not limited to sushi, maki, nigiri and sashimi) according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests.
Ensure proper food storage, quality, and presentation standards, including temperature control
Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions
Effectively communication
A good team player and understand guest’s service
Can stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 to 10 hours
Wednesday to Sunday
