West suburban market research firm located in Oak Brook, IL, is currently seeking a part-time (20-25 hours) Kitchen and Facilities Manager to support our in-kitchen research needs. This person will be responsible for many facets of facility preparation, kitchen management, and inventory stocking/tracking.

Candidate must have/be:

Restaurant or other foodservice experience - including hands on knowledge of proper sanitation/cleaning, inventory management, and basic equipment maintenance understanding.

Physically capable - able to lift 50 pounds, capable of long work stretches that involve physical activity.

Highly organized and self-directed – possess solid organizational skills to manage a wide range of inventory items and duties.

Detail oriented – the small things are important to being a success in this role. Being a neat-freak is a plus!

Presentable - able to converse and interact with various team members in support of projects, and be a meaningful part of the team.

Pluses you may bring:

Computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Culinary training/background or degree

Handyman skills (facility maintenance and repair)

This role is on-site, prefer candidates within reasonable commuting distance. Must be a U.S. citizen, and have a dependable vehicle.

Work schedule is frequently flexible, however company work flow may dictate hours during projects.

Raise at 3 months with successful work history.
