CALLING ALL BACK OF HOUSE PROFESSIONALS We are hosting an in person open call this Wednesday, February 26th (10am - 12pm) and Thursday, February 27th (4pm - 6pm) for a new restaurant & music venue opening in Chicago next month. This will be held at 1001 W Washington Blvd and we will be interviewing for Sous Chef, Line Cook, Prep Cook, Dishwasher and more!

This venue will be a stunning, 300-capacity seated concert venue inspired by landmark jazz clubs, will open in March 2025, offering an elevated music and dining experience in the heart of Chicago’s West Loop, the city’s premier dining district. This venue will prioritize exceptional musical curation, artful interior design, and state-of-the-art acoustics. The food and beverage program promises to be among the finest of any concert venue in the country. This venue will be a welcoming space for music lovers and artists of all kinds and an innovative experience in live concert venues.

The Line Cook is responsible for reviewing menus and preparing food needed. The Line Cook follows all sanitation guidelines and becomes familiar with new menu items/dishes. They set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies as well as cleaning up the station and taking care of leftover food. The Line Cook will answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions, stock inventory appropriately, and ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. They must comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards as well as maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

The Prep Cook will prepare, review and follow instructions. They will assure that all food procedures are followed and areas are organized. The Prep Cook will undertake basic cooking duties and maintain a clean and orderly kitchen. They must comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines and perform other kitchen duties as assigned while maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

The Dishwasher must perform various kitchen, cleaning, and storage activities such as, but not limited to, dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage, and rotation of food and supplies. This position also includes janitorial duties in various dining service areas such as dining room, kitchen, and other areas associated with the culinary department. You must handle

all food, storage and cleaning activities in accordance with company, federal, state, and local procedures and standards.
