Job Description: As the Maitre d', you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring that guests receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive until they leave. You will oversee front-of-house operations, manage the dining room, and collaborate closely with the kitchen and service staff to create a seamless and memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front-of-house team.
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with a focus on personalized service.
Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and properly set up for service.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Train and mentor new staff members on service standards and procedures.
Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and promptly.
Assist with special events and functions as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maitre d', Head Waiter/Waitress, or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and wine service.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
