We are looking for a HARD working, experienced, skilled, and motivated cook to join our North Side restaurant. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food dishes, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area, and ensuring all food items meet our high standards of quality and freshness.
Requirements:
● Reliable
● Must be able to speak, understand and read English
● Experience working in a restaurant.
● References will be checked
● Be able and know how to Wash Dishes (if needed)
● Great and Clean Hygiene.
● Excellent customer service.
● Hard worker and Trustworthy.
● Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
● Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
● Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills
● Spanish speaking is a plus
● Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
● Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
● Prepare and cook a variety of food dishes, including burgers, fries, sandwiches, and salads.
● Can work 20 to 30 hours per week.
● Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
● Follow all food safety standards and regulations, including maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment, and proper storage of food items.
● Work closely with other team members to ensure that all orders are prepared and served in a timely manner.
● Maintain accurate inventory of food items and supplies.
● Assist with cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas.
