Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Private Events Dishwasher to join our event team. This role is essential to maintaining cleanliness and efficiency during and after private events. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all dishware, cookware, and utensils are cleaned and ready for use, while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans during and after events.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dishwashing areas.
Ensure dishwashing equipment is functioning properly and report any issues.
Assist with trash removal and maintaining a tidy kitchen environment.
Collaborate with the culinary team to support event flow and kitchen efficiency.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
Assist with setting up and breaking down the dishwashing station before and after events.
Qualifications:
Previous dishwashing experience in a restaurant or catering environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility with hours; must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Reliable transportation to various event venues.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in hot and humid conditions.
