Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience
Extensive knowledge and appreciation of craft beers and wines, including styles, flavor profiles, and production processes
A team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
Demonstrate ability to maintain organization, efficiency, and cleanliness in the workplace
Must have a great sense of hospitality and understand how it impacts on our business
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, and weekends.
BASSET certification required prior to the start date
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the bar area, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for our guests
Job responsibilities include:
Full knowledge of our seasonally changing menu
Opening and closing duties which include but are not limited to: keeping the taproom clean, cleaning bathrooms, locking up at end of shift, keeping track of inventory, and switching kegs
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
Take and process drink orders efficiently
Pour and serve craft beers and wines from the brewery's selection
Educate customers about the brewery's offerings, including beer styles, ingredients, and brewing process
Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Collaborate with brewery staff to promote special events, and new releases
