We’re looking for a kind-hearted, thick-skinned, dependable male caregiver for a 75-year-old gentleman who’s smart with a strong will. He’s hard of hearing, has an infection requiring IV antibiotics so experience with that is definitely a plus., and has just been diagnosed with cancer. He likes feeling independent but appreciates having help around — and good company.
Duties include:
Meal preparation and cooking.
Giving insulin shots and keeping up with his medications, and administering IV antibiotics once a day currently.
Light housekeeping and laundry.
Helping with personal care —
Driving to doctor appointments and errands.
Offering companionship.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to get to his apartment each day.
Male caregiver needed.
Prior caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
Kind, dependable, and willing to help however needed. Monday-Friday
7am-5pm, occasional weekends and nights
