Home Care $20.25/HR PT/FT
Monday through Friday - 7am-3pm. 4-5 days available.
48 yr old male with Muscular Dystrophy, Ventilator dependent, and use of powered wheelchair. Willing to train until comfortable.
CNA routine duties:
-Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and meal prep
-Assist with turning, moving, and positioning in bed.
-Assist with mobility and transfers using electric Hoyer lift.
-Routine trach care - Suctioning
-Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
-Answering and making phone calls
I am 48 years old and an easy going patient. I am verbal but have some speech issues. Besides the daily routine duties I am hoping to find someone who can maintain my independence by taking me to some doctor appointments and going out and about. During the summer I am pretty much outside everyday weather permitting.
Winter time is less active as I don't tolerate the colder temps too well. Down times are listening to music or watching some tv shows. I live with my father and sister who can provide support when needed.
Employment/Pay through the State of IL (IDHS). Direct Deposit, Medical, and Union Benefits available. Background check, NPI verification, valid Driver's License, and a good driving record is a plus, I own my own van.
