Certified Nursing Assistant -PT/FT - Lyons, IL
Home Care CNA $20.25/HR
Monday through Friday - HOURS needed 7am-3pm. 4-5 days available.
Looking for a motivated caregiver for a 49 yr old easy going male with Muscular Dystrophy, Ventilator dependent, and use of powered wheelchair/Scooter. Will provide proper training.
CNA routine duties:
-Assist with activities of daily living, dressing, meal prep and bathing.
-Assist with turning and positioning in bed.
-Assist with mobility and transfers using electric Hoyer lift.
-Routine trach care - Suctioning
-Maintain a clean and organized patient environment including some laundry.
-Answering and making phone calls
-Must be able to push the scooter up a ramp.
-Must be willing to drive to doctor appointments, grab some lunch or just to get out.
I am verbal but have some speech issues. Besides the daily routine duties I am hoping to find someone who can maintain my independence. I live with my father and sister who can provide support when needed.
Employment/Pay through the State of IL (IDHS). Direct Deposit, Medical, and Union Benefits available. Background check, NPI verification, valid Driver's License, and a good driving record is a plus, I own my own van.
