Busy, friendly, 30+ years established dental office on the west side of Chicago, is seeking an experienced full-time dental assistant. We are looking for someone who is punctual, energetic and willing to learn. We highly value our patients and have a strong belief in providing excellent care, while maintaining a great experience.
Some of the job responsibilities will consist of the following:
-assist in a variety of treatment procedures.
- take dental x-rays
-Setup and breakdown operatory post treatment
-Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice
-Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
-Perform various office tasks as necessary
Ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Must be prompt and ready to work.
- Ideal candidate should have dual capabilities with dental assisting as well as scheduling
-Excellent customer service skills.
-Professional demeanor and friendly bedside manner.
-Dentrix knowledge a plus!
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
-Ability to work collaboratively with other members on the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
