GLENVIEW: Seeking LIVE-IN FEMALE,DEMENTIA-EXPERIENCED CAREGIVER for our mother- senior, 84 with dementia patient. One person for WEEKDAYS: Monday- Friday: (Weekends off).Includes Private bedroom and bath if desired (so you do not need to pay rent elsewhere). Position duties include: meals, bathing, medication/vitamin admin, and light housekeeping.
We are a private family, not an agency. A plus if you speak Polish. Client speaks a little Polish.
PAY: $5000/month
1. Must have recent VERIFIABLE caregiving referencesafter written job application. Verifiable means we must be able to see pay stubs or a signed contract from the client or agency you were hired from.
2. Must SPEAK ENGLISH WELL enough to read and write in English comfortably and have conversations with patient. My mother speaks a little Polish so if you do this is a plus.
3. Be in GOOD HEALTHand good physical shake enough to able to help up from bed, client sit up in bed,assist with walking, and bend to assist wiping from toilet. If you have back or knee issues this may not work.
4. You must also be willing to complete a WRITTEN JOB APPLICATION that includes several, basic questions. If you refuse to do this or complain please do not apply.
5. Sign a CONTRACT and Complete background check.
We are a private, Northshore FAMILY seeking experienced, quality care. We arenot an agency. We are looking for the right people to replace our current live-in, long-term, caregiver who is 69 and she is retiring.
This is not a babysitting job, a side hustle or part time summer gig. MUST HAVE ALZHEIMER'S EXPERIENCE.
Patient is 84, walking and talking but needs assistance with bathroom, showers, meals, light housekeeping, laundry and companionship.
Car is not a requirement.
As I am caring for my mother AND interviewing NUMEROUS caregivers at the same time I am not doing phone interviews until after I have reviewed your application. The application includes approx 30 basic questions. This will be sent next if you feel you qualify.The questions do not contain anything confidential.
Then we can do a video call if we feel you might be a good fit for us.
