Good day. I am looking for a caretaker to watch my mother who has dementia. She lives in Skokie, IL and is currently being watched by my cousin. He has done well but I need a female to watch my mother. Looking for possibly day shifts and or night shifts (when she is sleeping) like from 10 PM to 7am. I might be able to offer a small room as part compensation as well as money paid.
Duties: Bathing, cooking her meals and maybe just walking her for some exercise. Also we have a washing machine in the basement where you would wash her clothes. She is able to walk independently but cognitively she has declined.
I can offer: $15-$20 per hour as compensation depending on experience. She also has hours available through the DORS program which I can pay you through that way as well as cash. She has a small room next to her bedroom that you could live for free to offer as part compensation.

She lives in a 4 unit condo walk up building. The unit is clean and I expect for you to be clean as well.
