We have an immediate need for RN or LPN part time night shifts for private duty case for our sweet special needs daughter in our home. Loving family in Mount Prospect needs a part-time RN or LPN for sweet, very involved 90 lb. quadriplegic young adult female, with seizure disorder, non-verbal, G-tube, mentally and developmentally challenged. Nursing duties include overall care, including but not limited to bathing, personal hygiene, G-tube feedings, straight catheter, range of motion, giving medications, monitoring for seizures, CPT, daily care. No lifting as we have a ceiling lift system in place, but you need to be physically capable. Diagnosis: Developmental Delays, Seizures, auto immune. Care needs very similar to geriatric care. Come work for us in our home! One patient, one family, no issues.
Due to our insurance's regulations, you must be an RN or LPN with a current Illinois license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least one year of experience, with longevity at past or current employer. References are required. Training will be provided. We are looking for those with a professional and compassionate approach to care giving with a calm and confident personality. Must be organized, assertive, and not be afraid to think quickly, have excellent listening skills, and excellent dependability. This position for permanent part time night shifts, 12 hour shifts from 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday every other week. Other night shifts may be available in the future. You can work as little as two shifts per month (or more) but we are looking for consistent care.
