Seeking to hire a caregiver to help my disabled adult brother-in-law, Joshua
Joshua is 41 years old, has cerebral palsy from birth and uses a power wheelchair for mobility. Joshua has no use of his right arm and limited use of his left arm and hand. Joshua works at Home Depot as a greeter and has been working there for 13+ years. Joshua moved from his long-term home with his parents outside Philadelphia, PA to Chicago in March 2024 and lives with me, my wife and our dog in a small condo building in the City of Chicago near the intersections of Western Ave & Chicago Ave
Job tasks are helping Joshua before and after work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays - helping him out of bed, bathroom/hygiene/showering, putting on condom catheter, helping him into his wheelchair, preparing meals, etc. We have a Hoyer lift to help with transfers.
