We are looking for someone to help take care of our 32-year-old son. This is a permanent position with the following shifts available:
Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 9:00 am.
or
Monday through Friday 2:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
A degree in Therapeutic Recreation or CNA experience is preferred but not necessary depending on work experience. Mornings are getting my son up and ready for the day. Afternoon/evening is keeping my son active. Our son is in a wheelchair, and we have a lift system throughout the house so you never have to lift but you will have to roll him from side to side to change and clothe. Showers are typically given on MWF early evening. He has his own way of communicating and loves being around other people.
