HR/Union Manufacturing facility
-policy development, compliance with labor laws, and ensuring a positive workplace culture.
-Recruitment and Staffing/Employee relations
-Develop job descriptions, conduct interviews, coordinate the hiring process Employee Relations:
-Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns
-Address employee complaints and conflicts and mediate resolutions
-Ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement.
-Work proactively on relationship building with the union.
-Facilitate monthly labor management meetings and resolve grievances and work issues.
-Oversee the performance management system, including setting goals,
-Develop and implement strategies for employee development, training, and career progression
-Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
-Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, health insurance, retirement plans,
-Manage payroll processes and resolve any discrepancies
-Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies that align with business goal
-Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
