We operate a small Turo car rental business focused on excellent customer service and clean, well-maintained vehicles. We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented people to help prepare cars for guests and perform check‑in/out photo inspections. Position overview
Role: Vehicle Prep & Check-In general labor
Type: Part-time flexible shifts; weekends may be required.
Location: Little Italy
Pay:$16.2 per hour or salary
Start date: Immediate
Key responsibilities
Clean and sanitize vehicles between rentals (vacuum, wipe surfaces, tidy trunk, remove trash).
Take high-quality photos for check‑in and check‑out documentation (interior, exterior, odometer, fuel, any damage).
Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any damage, low fluids, or maintenance needs.
Refill fuel when needed and run short errands related to vehicle prep.
Follow company cleaning and photo checklist and maintain professional guest interactions when required.
Keep accurate logs and update our system with photos and notes.
Who we’re looking for
Honest, dependable individuals with attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required (we will verify driving history).
Must pass a background and/or drug screening as part of our hiring process. We maintain a drug-free workplace and require employees to keep company vehicles smoke- and drug-free.
Non-smokers preferred; vehicles must remain smoke-free at all times.
Comfortable using a smartphone to take/upload photos and follow simple digital checklists.
Ability to lift 30–40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varied weather.
Prior car-cleaning, detailing, or rental-check experience is a plus but not required.
What we offer
