We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Commercial Parts Specialist to join our team in Lynwood, IL.
Position: Commercial Parts Specialist
Type: Full-Time
Location: Lynwood, IL
Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST
(30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities:
Parts Management: Handle inventory and procurement of commercial truck and trailer parts. Ensure that parts are readily available to meet repair and maintenance needs.
Customer Service: Assist customers with parts inquiries, provide recommendations, and process orders efficiently.
Outdoor Maintenance: Perform grass cutting and general upkeep of outdoor areas and buildings (Note: This does not include janitorial tasks).
Company Vehicle Use: Utilize a company vehicle during work hours for various tasks, including parts delivery and pick-ups.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and transactions.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in parts management or a similar role in the automotive or truck repair industry is preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities.
License: Valid Driver’s License required (must be able to drive company vehicle).
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform outdoor maintenance tasks and lift heavy parts as needed.
Work Ethic: Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
