We are a Small Non-Union Concrete installation firm located in Blue Island. Our projects are throughout the city, not limited to one area. We are looking for experienced Concrete Manager to oversee our jobsites and to be able to maintain a good relations with employees, suppliers and clients. We can provide a proper training customized to our company needs.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
-Coordinating and scheduling daily work plan and tasks for the employees
-Enforce safety protocols to ensure job site meets OSHA safety standards
-Supervise and train workers as needed
-Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
-Contact new clients, provide estimates, and establish a new client relationship to offer companies’ services
-Managing subcontractor relationships, material supplier relationships and the coordination of city inspection processes
-Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-Experience and knowledge in a concrete construction
-Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
-Ability to calculate and order concrete
-Strong communication and organization skills
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
