We have approximately 20 acres of woods and meadows that have been really well maintained by the prior owners up until 3 years ago.
There are probably 2-3 acres that have alot of buckthorn and the rest is pretty clear and just has a few small buckthorn and/or multiflora rose.
We need someone to walk all the wooded areas to remove the buckthorn, multiflora rose, and any honey suckle or garlic mustard you come across.
You can just hand pull the smaller stuff and leave it in the woods.
For the larger stuff, please cut it down to the ground and spray the cut ends/stumps (we have the liquid, you just need a sprayer). You can leave the cuttings in the woods.
I estimate it is about 100-160 hours of work. Ideally you would have one or two contractors to cut/pull and one person to follow behind and spray the stumps.
