We are looking for a reliable crew member to join our team installing and maintaining drip irrigation systems in gardens across Chicago and Evanston.
We are a very small company, and we care about our work and the people that work for us. We install and maintain above-ground, efficient drip irrigation systems in high-end residential landscapes. Prior experience working with watering systems is a plus, but not required.
Perks include a kind, easy-going boss who is willing to work with your schedule, as we can generally plan around your schedule on a weekly basis with advance notice and within typical working hours (8am-6pm).
Since we can't always guarantee full-time hours (based on weather and seasonal demand), we have found this job to be a good fit for people with a second source of income or other time commitment, such as artists, musicians, writers, service professionals, part-time students, etc.

Utilize hand tools and power tools for various installation and maintenance tasks.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate tasks and address any concerns.

Use dispatching software to receive and enter project details like parts used, time spent, etc.
Supply weekly invoices for payment, indicating hours worked delineated by job address, day and time.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license and reliable access to vehicle (jobs are located across Chicago, concentrated on the north side of the city);
Ability to quickly learn technical aspects of our irrigation systems to install, maintain and troubleshoot issues;
