Our client, a leading precision manufacturing company in the Wheeling/Buffalo Grove area, is seeking an Entry-Level Maintenance Mechanic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to engage in hands-on tasks, and a keen interest in machine maintenance. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods (at least 8 hours per day).
Key Responsibilities:
Initially responsible for changing coolant and cleaning CNC machines.
Gradually develop skills to repair and maintain CNC machines through on-the-job training.
Qualifications:
Mechanical inclination and a proactive approach to learning.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
