General job description:
Daily Care of younger birds in barn — feeding, watering, cleaning out brooder rooms
Periodic care of older birds in outside flight pens — feeding, watering
Catching and crating of mature birds for delivery
Pen maintenance
Egg handling during hatching season
Possible machinery operation (tractors and mowers)
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
Work environment may include high temperatures indoors and all weather conditions outdoors.
Lifts/moves/carries objects up to 40 pounds.
Must learn and apply basic instructions on a regular basis
Must complete basic math accurately and quickly
